The Sultanate of Oman lies on the south eastern part of the Arabian Peninsular and includes some of the most stunning and varied geography in the region. Salt-flats, lagoons, oasis, mountains, wadis and stretches of sand, all form the backdrops of the Sultanate. Oman has a wide variety of flora and fauna that includes the famous frankincense, the Arabian leopard and the Arabian Oryx.

This country has changed so dramatically over the years that the services of the 20th century have also arrived. And with them, mass communication, mobility and leisure facilities. While Oman has moved forward, Omanis have maintained a strong cultural identity and kept what is best for their own way of life.
